John Jones marriage certificates on offer (General)

One of the joys(!) of researching a name like Jones is the amount of wrong turns you take in the finding.

I've got two copy marriage certificates here, both of which turned out to be John Jones' I'm not related to. If they happen to relate to someone's research here, I'd be happy to post them to you (free of charge, obviously!).

The marriages are as follows:

John Jones (22, miner) married Charlotte Waite (18), 24th May 1890 at St John's Church. Bride & groom lived in Soudley, fathers were John Jones (labourer) and George Waite (miner), witnesses William Waite and Mary Jane Waite.

John William Jones (32, Collieryman) married Charlotte Williams (33), 4th July 1888 at Elwood. Bride & groom lived in West Dean, fathers were William Jones (colliery manager) and James Williams (labourer), witnesses Matthew and Alice Jenkins.

If anyone would like either of these, please leave me a message here or email me directly at caroline.e.s.jones@googlemail.com
