Joseph Griffiths b. 1893 Ruardean emigrated to Australia (General)

I need a shove in the right direction to find Joseph Griffiths b. 1893 Ruardean. Father William Griffiths b. 1856 mother Emma Brain b. 1855.

The story his (Josephs') brother told his kids was that he (Joseph) loaned his father some money to help pay for the house on the understanding that he left it to him in his will. They had an arguement sometime later and William informed his son that he hadn't changed his will and he wasn't getting the house. Joseph out of anger was supposed to have set the house on fire and emigrated to Australia. His sister May was the only one who knew where he was. None of the family seem to have this info. I think Joseph was in his 20's so 1913-1923 possibly.

This is the first emigration I've come across, any help is greatly appreciated.
