I have a contact in the USA whose gt.grandmother was Sarah Sindrey. The above is the birth entry she has. Sarah married John Titterington of Lancashire, the marriage details have not been found.Their first born was Edward Titterington c. 1869 at Oldens Common, Gloucester. I guess this could be Oldends Common, Stonehouse. Please does anyone know if this could be true?

I found the family in the 1881 census at Cheetham, Lancashire, and it says that Sarah was born in Lancs.

The only Sarah I have found appears to be the sixth child of George & Elizabeth Cinderey(or however you spell it) bapt. 26 Mar 1848. She married George Annetts 14 Nov 1865 at Drybrook. They appear to have at least three children the last one, Edith Beatrice b.8 Jun 1873. Even if George Annetts had died ,the dates don't add up.

I did find a Sarah Scindery b.1848 Worcs.living in Glos. but I can't locate her. Unfortunately the name is recorded in so many different ways.

Please could someone out there perhaps look up the 1871 census for John & Sarah Titterington and see where Sarah's birthplace was. A second son Samuel was born in 1871 at Leicester.

Any other information would be greatly welcomed.
