James WRIGHT married Ann FREEMAN 1853 at Newland (General)
Hi
I have James Wright m Ann Freeman in 1853 at Newland, unfortuantely there are no father's name for either of them.
I have not found anything conclusive for James in 1841 or 1851-
I know that Ann had a son Thomas before she married James- Thomas was born c 1852 and is in a school for deaf and dumb in 1861 - RG9 1724 39 3
In 1871 he is an apprentice back in Newland RG10 5298 37 27.
In 1881 he is with his mother Ann at High Nash RG11 5223 38 25- Ann gives her birthplace at this time as Abergavenny.
I can't find anything definite for Ann in 1841 or 1851-
I found a birth on the IGI for a Tom Owen Freeman at Monmouth (although on each census his birthplace is put as Coleford), with only the mother named - Ann Freeman- Could this be my Ann?
How on earth will I find them without father's names on marriage cert?
Any thoughts/ideas appreciated.
Thanks
