Sarah Anne JOSEPH 1837 (General)

Thanks slowhands, once more for your support!

I didn't have all of those details for the 1841 Census, so thank you for that. I had the other records.

My reason for wanting a correction here, is for the benefit of other descendants who may be searching for Joseph family members, but also because I want to be absolutely sure that this is the correct entry for my great grandmother (incidentally she died in NZ and is buried not far from where I live, in a tiny abandoned cemetery in a farm paddock).

I am also interested in making sure it is my great grandmother because of the other details on the parish record. For example, her father, Thomas Joseph (my great great grandfather), is described on census and parish records variously as a clerk (which some people say may be clergy), accountant, and school master. This is one of the latter records, so I would like to be sure that it is him. He is very interesting because of the huge age difference between him and my great great grandmother - I have not been able to find evidence of an earlier marriage in either Wales (he was born in Llanfihangel Rhydithon) or the Forest, so why did he leave it so late to marry?

Thanks for your help, John Hopkins.
