Florence Mary Jones - Viney Hill (General)
I've been looking through the Parish Records and found a Florence Mary Jones baptised 26 July 1903 in Viney Hill.The parents are down as William Henry Jones & Bessie. William & Bessie were my wife's grandparents, but she has never heard of Florence. I asked my wife's brother about her and he had not heard of her either. William & Bessie had nine children & 1 adopted, my wife and her brother knew all of their Aunts & Uncles.I can't find a death for Florence at the moment.On the BMD site there was another Florence Mary Jones born Sept 1903 Westbury District, but I can't see her in the Parish Registers.Was there another William & Bessie Jones c1903 & does anyone know the parents of the September Florence?.I had the thought that Florence could be the adopted child but my wife say's although her name(she thinks) was Mary she was years younger and married a Reg Turley.

Still trying to find out about Florence.I now know for certain that she was not Bessie & William Jones adopted daughter. Her name was Mary Morse.Does anyone have any info on Mary Jones buried Viney Hill 21 March 1904 aged 8 months.The age is right for Florence. Does anyone know Mary's(1904) parents?.

Solved the Florence Mary Jones poser,she is the Mary Jones (minus the Florence)who died Jan1/4 1904.I have the death certificate.She died 17 March 1904 of Whooping cough; Bronco pneumonia & convulsions aged 8 months.Her grandfather Samuel Morse(1856) was a witness at her death.
