Unable to trace marriage at General Register Office (GRO) (General)

I found date of marraige in parish record search but have been unable to trace it at GRO records. Has anyone any ideas, or had the same problem tried all months before and after!

Marraige of James Morse to Eliza Pernell ( i also tried Purnell) June 29 1837 in Awre. I tried several searches on GRO but no luck, i would be grateful for some help!

It's likely that as the marriage was on the 29 June 1837, the marriage was not registered as it was only compulsory to register from 1 July 1837.

This marriage is avaiable in the parish records but gives very little more information except that they were married by banns with the permission of their parents,witnesses were Henry Williams & Harriet Jones,the bride and groom were both residing at Awre.
