Five Acres at West Dean (General)
Does anyone know a House called Five Acres at West Dean and Gorse House Coleford? My mother was born (1916) at first and moved to second.
Quarries - Would be grateful for any information on Quarries in the Coleford Area my gandfather William Ernest Davis I believe owned or managed a quarry or quarries. On a marriage document he is stated as Quarry Owner 1911.
I have a document relating to Lydbrook Quarry December 1924.
My grandfather and grandmother married at Christ Church Church in 1911.
Any info on the Coleford / West Dean Area would be great.
