Herbert gone missing (General)

I have the following information on Elijah Herbert born abt 1848 East Dean - married to Emma Baggs in 1870. I have managed to trace the couple and children up to 1881 census but I cannot find them on further records. I wonder if anyone can tell me if they emigrated?

Elijah Herbert married Emma Baggs in 1870. Apr/May/Jun qtr Vol 6a, page 449. Registered in Westbury on Severn

Alice Herbert Dau age 2 born abt 1879 Cinderford
(no mention of first child Mary, wonder if she died young)

Yes they emigrated to America.
I did a Family Tree check on Ancestry and there are several people who have posted information relating to Elijah, Emma, and their family. These people have contact addresses for anyone wanting any further information. There are also photographs of some family members.
There are also Family Tree entries for Elijah, Jane(Baglin), and their family, again with contact addresses.

I don't know if you're a subscriber to Ancestry, if you are you can contact the various people who have listed Herbert/Baglin/Baggs in their Family Tree, to get further information from them. If you're not a subscriber I can contact them for you, if that would help at all.

Thank you for the information regarding Herbert family who emigrated. I do subscibe to Ancestry and will certainly chase up this link. With all the help you and others have given us, we have managed to chase up many more family members who we did not know existed. Thank you very much, you are a mine of information.
