FROWEN family in 1841 ? (General)

Hmmm, the plot thickens!

I now have another 'missing' sibling and a child attributed to a thrid that I don't think was his. Let me explain (or at least try!)

Charles b 1830, William b 1833 and Henry b 1835 where the three sons of George Frown b 1804 and Maria Critchley. George then went on to marry Annie Dowle on the 4th October 1838 and they had one daughter, Emma who was born in 1840 (she went on to have 8 illigit children before marrying John Saysell). Records show that George died in 1881.

In 1851 Emma is shown as living with her grandmother Betty (elizabeth) Frowen nee Aston in the workhouse (this is were Elizabeth died in 1857), there are no apparent records of the rest of the family here.

I know that William married Lousia Harris b 1829 in Tweksbury. A third party from another board has them as the parents of Alice Jane Frowen b1856 who married a Fredrick M Beechey. However, the only Alice Jane Frowen I can find born in this year is listed as the child of an Esther Frowen (who I don't appear to have in my tree - yet!).

However, both Charles and Henry seem to have vanished. On second thoughts I really don't think he could of emigrated, becuase they were two young and I have William.

It's likely that I have just missed something some where, but I am confused.

If anyone can shed any light on this little mystery I would be more than grateful!!
