Forest of Dean Newspapers c1874 - Forest of Dean FHT Forum

Could anyone help me to find which newspapers might carry reports of inquests from the Coroner of the Forest District in 1874 and where they might be viewed?

I am led to believe that the Dean Forest Mercury started in 1881. Are there any other local papers around in 1874?

The Forest of Dean Examiner came into existance around 1872, the Cinderford Mercury about 1881
