If we are talking about the Enos BRAIN of Edge Hill /m Emma FIELD, who was murdered in Ohio , then after 1881, I understand 1890 was when he shows in Washingtonville Ohio
ENOS BRAIN was born 30 Sep 1838 in Edgehills, Collafield, Gloucestershire, England,
and died 12 Nov 1901 in Washingtonville, OHIO

They all immigrated from England in 1889 except Samuel came in 1879
