Does anyone know where this photagraph was taken, probably around the Coleford
area in the early 50's. My mother-in-law Joyce Lambert is sitting on the third
seat along from the left, with her son Allan on her lap and Michael at her feet

Railway Engine

by slowhands @, proud of his ancient Dean Forest roots, Tuesday, October 30, 2007, 21:07 (6234 days ago) @ admin

...it looks like a 1076 class 0-6-0 saddle tank Steam engine , I guess in about the 1920's...

< not unlike the much later Austerity engine that can sometimes be seen running on the Dean Forest Railway>
