There are two different types of Birth Certificate, a Short Certificate
which records only the child's name and date of birth, and the Full
Birth Certificate which is the type of value to family historians.

The Full Certificate contains the following information:

* Where and When Born
* Name
* Sex
* Name and Surname of Father (often left blank if the child was illegitimate)
* Name, Surname and Maiden Name of Mother (useful in helping to find the parents marriage).
* Occupation of Father
* Signature, Description and Residence of Informant (the person registering the birth).
* When Registered
* Signature of Registrar
