The fact that Kate Colwell's parents had turned out to be John Colwell & Sarah Jane Penn had completely altered a very good Family History friend's lineage. The scepticism we have is that there is 4 years between the illegitimate birth of Sarah Jane Penn 10.5.1850 in Union Workhouse and her marriage to George Goode 4.5.1854, yet he is shown as the father.
