The following website has some interesting annotations that were made to the burial registers during those years. Even if you have no relatives who died in this period it will still make interesting reading.

Looking through the transcribed burial records we have on this website the practice of the vicar adding interesting remarks in the register about some of the people being buried went on went for a few more years after 1895.
If other vicars would have done the same thing, it would have been of great value to all of us family history researchers!
