Hi A lot of our ancestors were miners in the Forest - can we find out if they were Freeminers?

James Aston b Oct 1825 Ruardean
Edward Aston b 26 Sept 1784 Birth Reg Newland but living in Coleford
Thomas Aston c 11 Dec 1747 Newland
Edward Aston c 15 May 1721 Newland (but living in COleford)
Edward Aston c 11 Jul 1681 Newland
Philip Aston b 1665 Newland?

And is it possible to find out if they were involved in any mining accidents?
