1. GEORGE JENKINS was born Bef. 1753, and died Abt. December 24, 1805 in Breams Green, Coleford, Gloucestershire, England. He married SARAH BEACH February 23, 1773 in Newland Parish, Gloucestershire, England, daughter of JOHN BEACH and ELEANOR MORGAN.
2. JAMES JENKINS was born 1792 in West Dean, Gloucestershire, England, and died November 17, 1854 in Breams Green, Coleford, Gloucestershire, England. He married SUSANNAH PHIPPS June 05, 1817 in Newland Parish, Gloucestershire, England, daughter of GEORGE PHIPPS and ISABELLA JAMES. Occupation was iron miner. His death certificate shows that son Thomas was witness to his death.

3. JAMES JENKINS was born Bef. June 14, 1818 in West Dean, Gloucestershire, England, and died Bef. 1871 in West Dean, Gloucestershire, England. He married HANNAH ROBERTS Mar. 14, 1846 in St Johns Church,Yorkley, Gloucestershire, England, daughter of THOMAS ROBERTS and ELIZABETH ?.

His occupation is listed as "collier". The Jenkins family originated in a small community in the middle of the Forest of Dean. Initial census records showed the family of James and Hannah Jenkins as being at the core of the Jenkins search in Glouchestershire. They lived in a part of West Dean known as Mill Hill. He was described as an iron worker.
