I would like to add a �Note for the record� to the Forest of Dean web site to the effect that a comparison of the 37 marker Y-DNA data of Jeff Morgan (see http://www.forum.forest-of-dean.net/index.php?mode=thread&id=2294) and whose putative ancestry is given in Miscellaneous Documents �Thomas Morgan born circa 1645 Pedigree� - shows that they do not share a recent paternal ancestor.

As far as I am aware this is the first time on this site that Y-DNA comparison has been used as an aid to genealogical research.
