There is a burial in Newland on the parish records on this site:
Thomas MACKLIN aged 53 of Whitecliff buried 23 Jul 1831. Puts his birth date abt. 1787.

Could this be him?

Hi I just emailed you because I thought the little letter ment I was ment to but figgered out how to use the thread so please forgive. thanks now I need to find his birth any ideas as their don't seem to be many macklins in the area, he was 41 when he married esther coban in 1819 she was 24 thanks cathy
