Hi Annette

I have found a possible (??) birth registration on FreeBMD for Ann. She was 21 when she married in 1860, so probably born 1839. I notice both families were living at Ryton (south of Bromsberrow) at the time of the marriage. I wonder if they were a Herefordshire family?

Ann Meredith April-June 1839 District ROSS Vol 26 Page 211

Thomas & Ann's marriage was registered at NEWENT (FreeBMD Dec 1860 Vol 6a P 406)
Will keep looking (this is more fun than ironing!)

Wake up Slowhands - we need you!

Hi Bertha

I have come across a posthumous baptism which is confusing, when you establish - you think that they go on to marry. In that case one of the parents had died prior to the baptsism. I believe it was Slowhands who solved the mystery.
