Henry and Thomas MORGAN (General)

by rookancestrybest @, United Kingdom, Wednesday, February 20, 2008, 10:03 (6127 days ago)

Henry and Thomas Morgan as well as someone called Fanny Morgan (either their sister or someone who married either of them) are related to the Rook family. I think that Henry Morgan was the cousin of Thomas Rook (either the one born in 1786 or his son born in 1818). Henry Morgan had an MA from Oxford. As there are so many Henry Morgans does anyone know which one he is likely to be?
Thanks?

Thank you for this, I think you might have found the right connection though I would have thought a man with an MA could sign not mark his name on the register and their occupations don't seem to tally. But I'll run it off the computer and have a closer look at it.
