Joseph WILCE b abt 1853 East Dean (General)

First thanks to Slowhands I didn't have the baptism for Joseph William Wilce, but I do have more information that may be of use to Shirley :

Joseph William Wilce 'is' my 5th cousin 3 times removed, he was born 21.5.1852 Ruardean, son of James Wilce 1818/1869 and Charlotte Nelmes. James Wilce 1818 married twice, first to Elizabeth abt 1840 with whom he had 3 children, he married Charlotte Nelmes baptised 16.8.1835 on 11.5.1851 Drybrook, they had 4 children, including Lewis who married Rhoda Jane Marfell and they had 5 children. On the death of James Wilce 1818/1869, Charlotte remarried to Charles Smith born 1839 & they had 2 children.

Joseph William Wilce married Lydia Brain 12.4.1873 Drybrook. Lydia born 27.6.1853 was my 1st cousin 3 times removed, daughter of Simeon Brain & Ann Marfell.
Joseph & Lydia had 8 Children :
James Oliver born 12. 1873 married Mary White and they had 6 children
Evan Venning born 6.9.1876 married Ellen Mitchell and they had 9 children
Ambrose Pernell born 18.9.1878 married Annie Watson and they had 9 children
Ernest born 1884 PA. USA No more info.
William Joseph born 18.3.1884 PA. USA married Marion and they had 3 children
Agnes born 4.1888 PA. USA married James Swindlehurst and they had 5 children
Walter born 12 1895 PA. USA married Loretta Gonsalves and they had 5 children
Edward born about 1897 PA. USA. No more info.

Joseph William died 1.6.1926 Carbondale, Lackawana Co., PA. USA
Lydia died 28.5.1930 Carbondale, Lackawana Co., PA. USA

I have details of grandchildren & great grandchildren etc. but that's probably quite enough for this forum. I can share more with you if you email me using the link, but you will have to be quick as I will be away for about 5 weeks from 5th March & will of course be busy prior to that.
