Reflections on visiting the Forest this summer (General)

My planned trip to the Forest in May was postponed due to lockdown but I was finally able to visit in August. This was my second visit to the area (the first being in 2014) and having learned so much more about my ancestors in the intervening years I was keen to return and explore once again.

Earlier this year I started my own website: the prize for entering a competition in a family history magazine last year. During and after my visit this summer I wrote and published three articles about my ancestors from the Forest; the links are below.
