Hi,
Joseph Hatton 1776-1851 the shoemaker is my 4 x great grandfather. I am descended from his 6th child William Hatton 1813-1887 (a coal miner). When William was born they were living in High Beech and it looks like William spent all his life in the Moorwood / Ruardean area.
Regards
Bridget Hatton

Hello Cousin Bridget

Joseph Hatton is my 4th cousin 6 x removed. Our connection is through John Hatton and Jane Edy (Eddy) who are my 9x great grandparents.

Happy hunting!

Hi,
Joseph Hatton (1776-1851) is my 4x Great Grandfather through his son Joseph (1802-1859).
He died in Lydbrook where he was living with his daughter Hannah at Highbeach, East Dean.
I believe Saffron Hill was exactly that - a hill, although I have not been able to find it on a map. Probably in the Lydbrook area.
