Racha(e)l Payne, 1866-1924 born Robinson or Robertson near Bridgend, was my wife's great grandmother through her daughter Florence Payne b. Cardiff Dec 1894. The family, head James Payne 1871-1925, a crane driver, moved from Cardiff to FoD ca. 1900 and lived in West Dean and Milkwall.
We have extensive census and other records of this family, including for Florence who moved to the USA in 1920.
I am searching particularly for any photographs of Rachel Payne, but would also be interested in any of James Payne, and of Florence and her siblings James (jnr) b.1896, Thomas Henry b.1897, John b.1899, Peter b.1900, Annie Mary b.1902 and William b.1904.
