sorry for misinterpreting your post, I should have realised that a poster such as your goodself would have already done a thorough research job, especially with such an important relative as your grandfather. It's good to read that he was clearly a much respected man in the community as well as a loved family member.
Also good to see the Lydney paper did such a professional job with the report, my own experience of other newspapers haven't always been so good.
