Alfred James Williams d1973 Ross-on-Wye (General)
Further: he is NOT the Alfred James Williams mentioned in your final paragraph. I contacted his son - this Alfred was born in June 1919 and was in the Gloucesters. The Alfred I am after was in the Welsh Guards.
