Thirteen months have now elapsed since the
official news first arrived that 40216 lance Corpl
J S Wilce son of the late Mr Levi Wilce and
of Mrs Wilce of Belle Vue Road was wounded and missing
Every possible inquiry has been made but no
information of any kind has since reached his
friends to show either that he was killed or
that he was taken prisoner. In one of the
notices it was mentioned " No hospital stated"
The absence of the ordinary intimation
generally sent in about 12 months more or less
assuming his death has not yet arrived. This
has given his friends a slender hope but there.....
