Benjamin Yeates of Monmouth (General)

Thank you very much for your reply.I have got back as far as Benjamin Yeats cider merchant who married Sarah Tippins in 1787 at Monmouth. This Benjamin also had a brother Richard and there is a parallel line with his descendants.
They had an uncle Benjamin Yeats who was a timber merchant in Monmouth and he was married three times. However I am unable to trace their date of birth or origins and therefore I am stuck. I was hoping that perhaps someone may have cracked this one as they do seem to be a well off family for the time. Unfortunatly John Yeats could very well be related but I am unable to establish a link.
