John Trigg (General)

I am a direct descendant of John and Mary Trigg (nee Floyd) going back 9 generations. According to my family records, John was born in 1650 to William Trigg (born 1598) and his wife who is unknown at this point. William was the son of William Trigge who was born in 1560. I guess the "e" was dropped from the Trigg name at this point.

John Trigg had a son born in 1673 who was named John. Seemed to be a tradition in the Trigg family, the reusing of names. My second name is John. I grew up in New Zealand and now live in Vancouver, Canada.

My great-great grandfather, Walter Mansfield Trigg was born in Ovendon, UK and emigrated to New Zealand according to my family records.
