Mushet, Robert - Servants in his house, Coleford (General)
Hi, may be of no great matter but Martha Rosser, the cook you refer to, was my GG grandmother and her daughter Lydia (married name Thomas) had boarding with her in Coleford and appearing in the 1881 census a Milson YOUNG born about 1848. May be part of your jigsaw.
It seems that there was, maybe, something of a connection between our families as my grandfather, Edward James ROSSER (1877), had a brother who was born here in NZ after the family came out to NZ and he was named Milson ROSSER(03/09/1879), not exactly a common moniker and the only appearance of that christian name in our family!
