I have a link to the Young family through the Jenkins family of Clearwell
Wood Jenkins who also lived at Palmers flat was a Stonecutter/Quarryowner.
Woods' mother Susannah Jenkins (also nee Jenkins) was the daughter of Walter Jenkins a Farmer at Trealy farm Cwmcarvan. Susannah's sister married a Young from Mitchel Troy.
I have traced the Young family back to William b 1734 Mitchel Troy.
If you are able to confirm the link I will be happy to send you the information I have.
