Birt family (General)

I am the great great great granddaughter of James Birt (born about 1801 in Newland) and his wife Elizabeth James (born about 1809/11 in Brecon)who married in 1831 in Bedwellty, Wales.
Some 5 years ago, someone on this site posted a message saying to contact them if they had a shared interest in James Birt and his family, so Daryl - this one is for you and anybody else out there who is connected to the Birt family.

I follow down from Mary Ann Birt who married George Morgan. They had, amongst others, a son called James Birt Morgan, who had sons, one of whom was my grandfather, John Clinton Morgan.
I am interested in anything relating to the Birt or James family, although Elizabeth James was born in Brecon.
