BIRT family - related messages (General)

Hello,

I am new to this forum and I am looking for any information on my great grandfather Thomas Morgan (1874-1948) or his father George Morgan (born 1836-1887).

George Morgan married Mary Ann Birt (born 1836, in Park End, Gloucestershire).

They married on 20/12/1853 at St Paul's, Park End, Gloucestershire.

Thomas was actually born in Polesworth, Warwickshire and moved to Denaby Main, South Yorkshire, where he first worked as a colliery under manager and later, a Justice of the Peace.

He married Janet (nee Paterson) and one of his sons, David Reginald, was my grandfather.

My father, Edmund Malcolm Morgan, sadly passed away recently and my family and I are very keen to learn more about his and our 'Morgan' roots.
