Josiah Low identified by slowhands is the same as the Joseph you have found as a Whitesmith in the 1851 and 1861 census. Josiah married Harriet Bugby c1801 and they had eleven children. I have no record of a Jabez Lowe born to Josiah and Harriet.<<

Early last year you kindly replied to a request I made for information about a Joseph Lowe (wife Harriet) who lived and worked in London as a "whitesmith". I've been away from my research for a while but am now getting back to it. I now have three Joseph Lowes married to Harriets around that time so I need to separate them out. You told me your Joseph did not have a child named Jabez but did have 11 chldren; were these children born/baptised in Portsea by any chance? Would you mind giving me their names so that I can "eliminate them from my equiries" so to speak?
