Unfortunately, Richard and William do not appear on the list of owners. The schedule that I have lists owners only; there is also a schedule of occupiers, but I don't have a copy.

The only other JENKINS listed as an owner in Clearwell is a George, plot # 1852.
That was a cottage and garden at the eastern end of the map that I posted.
I see on the 1841 census, that a neighbour of William, was a William BROWN. Now on the tithe map, plot # 1855 is owned by a William BROWN - only two doors away from George. Does this suggest that the property that William was living in was in fact owned by a George? Just to complicate matters the land owned by William BROWN did not have a building on it. It is shown as "arable" and named Brown Hill.
