I was so hoping I wouldn't get something like this, as it's so difficult to go back any further.
Looking at the info you have provided, it seems daughter was following, mum's footsteps thro 3 generations having babes out of wedlock.
The more I look at it, the more likely it is the right family. I'm particularly focusing on Carmala, as my William had a daughter Carmela, and as it's an unusual name, it's more probable to be his family than not. I was so hoping it was the family Chris gave me.....much easier to continue search. Although William went to live in Monmouthshire, in between his being there 1851 and the family moving to Somerset 1861, he and his wife had a son born in Bream viz John Pritchard Morgan. The two prior to John and all other siblings after 1861 were born back in Monmouthshire as they moved back there sometime after 1861 census. I'm new to this site and have tried putting his name into the search but nothing is coming up.
