I was intereste to read about the bible of the symonds family. I am descended from Alice PHIPPS b orn 16 May 1846 at Plump Hill daughter of Thomas Phipss and Elizabeth Simmonds she wade baptised 14th July 1822 at Abinghall daughter of Moses Symonds baptised 8 March 1789 Abinghall near Ruardean. They were non-conformatists - any relation?
