IRAM SON OF RICHARD AND ANN JAMES NEE KEAR WAS BORN IN 1816 AT BREAM AND BAPTISED AT ST JAMES`S CHURCH BREAM ON THE 18TH AUGUST 1816 IN THE 1841 CENSUS IRAM IS LIVING AT HOME BREAM EAVES AGE 25 WITH HIS SIBLINS AND FATHER RICHARD, ANN HIS MOTHER HAD DIED IN 1827 WHEN IRAM WAS ELEVEN. ON THE 13TH SEPTEMBER 1845 IRAM MARRIED MIRIAM TOOZE AT ST PAULS CHURCH PARKEND HE HAD SEVEN CHILDREN FOUR SONS AND THREE DAUGHTERS ON THE 1851 CENSUS HE WAS LIVING AT BREAM WOODSIDE BY 1861 THE FAMILY HAD MOVED TO OAKWOOD HILL IN BREAM MIRIAM DIED SOMTIME BETWEEN 1861 AND 1864 BECAUSE ON THE 24TH OF APRIL 1864 IRAM MARRIED HIS SECOND COUSIN ANNE WORGAN NEE JAMES WHO WAS ALSO A WIDOW ONTHE 1871 CENSUS THEY WERE LIVING AT BREAM EAVES JUST THE TWO OF THEM BY 1881 THEY HAD MOVED AGAIN AND WERE LIVING IN YORKLEY


ANN JAMES WAS THE DAUGHTER OF JEPTHA AND MARY NEE THOMAS . SHE WAS BORN ABT 1817 AT PILLOWELL AND BAPTISED 20TH APRIL 1817 AT ST MARYS CHURCH IN LYDNEY. ON THE 14TH FEBUARY 1839 SHE MARRIED NEHMIAH WORGAN FROM WHITECROFT/PILLOWELL AT NEWLAND CHURCH HIS OCCUPATION WAS A COALMINER .ON THE 1841 CENSUS ANN IS LIVING WITH HER MOTHER IN LAW AT WHITECROFT NEHMIAH ISN`T ON THE CENSUS NOR COULD I FIND HIM ANYWHERE .ON THE 1851 CENSUS NEHMIAH AND ANN ARE LIVING AT YORKLEY LANE PILLOWELL THEY`D HAD SIX CHILDREN BY 1855 .GEORGE IN 1841 , SARAH OR SALLY IN 1845, ALICE IN 1846, JOSIAH IN 1849, REUBIN IN 1850, AND ROSETA IN 1855, SOME TIME BETWEEN 1854 AND 1861 NEHMIAH DIED BECAUSE ON THE 1861 CENSUS ANN IS HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD AND A WIDOW LIVING AT YORKLEY WOOD.IN 1864 ON THE 24TH APRIL SHE MARRIED IRAM JAMES SON OF RICHARD AND ANN JAMES HIRAM WAS HER SECOND COUSIN THERE WERE NO CHILDREN BY THIS MARRAGE ON THE 1871 CENSUS IRAM AND ANN ARE LIVING AT BREAM EAVES
