Malson Family . . (General)

Hi Dan,
On a visit to Drybrook churchyard last month found a gravestone for Richard Malson died 20 Nov 1923 age 90 and Naomi Malson born 29 May 1931 died 11 Sept 1913.

Think this may be the Richard you are looking for. I have him as the son of Thomas Malson and Hannah (Gregory). On this site found a baptism at Mitcheldean Congregational 13 Mar 1833 for Richard Melsom son of Thomas and Hannah which I think might well fit given the age at death of 90 which would make the year of birh 1833.

I couldn't find a burial record for a Richard Malson for 1876 age 40 but did find a burial 23 Oct 1867 for a Richard Malson age 40 at Mitcheldean. This would make the year of birth c1827 and I think would make him the son of John Malson and Sarah (Platt).
