I'm searching for my g'grandfather's family in this area as he was born in Coleford. His mother was Janetta TOMBLIN, and as yet I cannot find a trace of her. She married John Henry TOMLINS and had my g'grandfather John Harry TOMLINS in 1886. Some time later she remarried a BULLOCK and had a son Eric to him.

I don't know whether Janetta is related in some way to Tomblins ditch, but it would be great to find some information relating to her birth.
