Does anyone have any information of George Hitt who was a bootmaker in Cinderford High Street during the early 1900's? He was my great grandfather and I know that he was born in Bethnall Green, London and later moved to Nottingham before settling in Cinderford and starting his own business.

Any details would be very welcome as I am researching my family tree.
