Your thoughts on Croft/Cross seem to be logical as I believe they were living close to the Wyndham Arms (Cottages to the rear, close to the well)

My concern re the location rest with the suggested size of the property which
the will of Esther indicates includes Dweling house with stable, workshops, and apportenances. The property was once owned by William Wood.
