Potteries Staffordshire (General)
My ancestor, George Edwin Short, was baptized at Christchurch, but his parent's residence is listed as Potteries Staffordshire. I'm not familiar with the area. Where is Potteries Staffordshire? Is that anywhere near the Forest of Dean? All of the other children were born in Moseley, Lane End - which I have heard of. Can anyone help me with information?
