I've finally found the solution to the Rhoda Minnie Goode saga and in my excitement I really have to tell everyone.

She went to Runcorn to be at the deathbed of her husband Albert and the typhoid also took her. Terribly sad story. I will post more when the death certificate arrives... It does explain why my Great Grandmothers pragmatism to some degree however and also why she never told my Grandmother about her parents... She didn't know them...
