Family Tree Charts (General)

I use The Master Genealogist from Wholly Genes. http://www.whollygenes.com/ I found it to be the most flexible. I initially downloaded demos of all the most commonly used programs and played with them before selecting The Master Genealogist. Like you I initially had a basic program and it drove me up the wall as I could not enter information I wanted to. Look at what it does on the website then download the demo and try it. Only buy the UK Gold version, the silver version is not nearly as good or flexible. With the American Dollar as it is at present it is a good time to purchase it.
