BEVAN of Tidenham (General)

Is anyone researching this family?
In particular I'm interested in the children of Susannah Bevan, who had a number of illegitimate children in Tidenham, including Edward Bevan b c 1810.
This Edward Bevan was tried and found guilty at Gloucester Assizes in 1838, and in 1839 he was transported to Tasmania. I have copies of his transportation records, if anyone is interested.
I am trying to ascertain whether this Edward Bevan was the same individual as the person tried at Gloucester Assizes in 1830 and 1831, shown as of Tewkesbury on both these occasions, and with a suggested birth date of 1807.
I need to rule the Tidenham Edward in or out, and any help would be appreciated.
The 1830 record shows Edward's name as BEVAN ALIAS MORFIELD. A William and Susannah Morfield were resident in Tewkesbury in 1841.
