It doesn't indicate that they aren't related, but what it does mean is that the individual records came from the same parish register (book). Depending on how active a parish was a register might be completed in just a few years, in other cases completing all the pages in the parishes registry book could take decades.

If the numbers are the same it does indicate the people mentioned lived in the same parish.
