Now the 1911 census is on Ancestry - all residents are listed - from all parts of the country including the Forest of Dean

Men's Casual Ward - 3 rooms - 26 males

Women's Casual Ward - 2 rooms - 1 male, 8 females (total 9 persons)

Main Building - 28 rooms - 34 males - 24 females (total 58) persons

Grand Total: 39 rooms, 67 Males, 41 Females = 108

Mr Trubshaw and his family are in Charge (both 1901 and 1911) - and his children (on the 1911 census) Dorothy age 11, Phyllis 9 and Ronald 8 - were christened at Newent and on FOD records.
